Today I worked on some playlist ideas for a client's Pandora skin. I wrote several bits of copy for a company youtube video including the title and headline copy. I proofread some marketing and created some slogans as usual. Hopefully soon I'll be able to put up some of the work I do for all to see!

Monday, 9.27.10

Today I worked on creating C's Pandora. I helped come up with a new brand idea for an existing client. I proofread some marketing material as well as brainstormed headlines for some marketing material. Over the weekend, some higher ups told me I should be getting some design work as soon as they slow down with all of their other work. Woo! I hope I'm ready.

This weekend, the crew was preparing to go to VMFF. We got out early today around 4pm. Most of the day was spent working on more billboards and proofreading marketing material. I finally finished my meta tag doc!

Monday, 9.20.10

Today I brainstormed several ideas for a client's marketing campaign billboard. I continued working on the meta tag document. As usual, I proofread marketing material, and helped out with other grammar issues.

Tuesday, 9.21.10

Today I got to brainstorm even more ideas for a different client campaign billboard. I also rewrote body copy on a cilent's website, thought of comments for our social media tools, tagged the staff in a self-promo Facebook album, and proofread marketing.

Today I checked to make sure all of the client postcards were correct, and fixed any errors on the postcards as well as in the client list document. I also proofread several pieces of marketing, a presentation for a client, and an e-blast.

Tuesday, 9.14.10

Today was an extremely busy day trying to finish up all my work from yesterday. Not to mention, several new projects were started. I was asked to rewrite some body copy for a Virgin Mobile site with info on Lady Gaga! Plus I edited some writing for TCM. Very cool.

Monday 9.13.10

Today was pretty exciting! I got the chance to attend my first office meeting about an exciting project involving TBS. I took notes and gave input. I also helped out with a company mailer. They are sending postcards to thank all of their clients for a great advertising season! I created all of the labels and even updated the client list as I noticed some errors. I continued filling in meta tag information for the client websites, which will help with their Facebook productivity. As usual, I proofread several pieces of marketing material and created slogans as well. I think I should be getting some design work soon which would be very exciting.

Friday, 9.10.10

Today I was asked to fill in an excel spreadsheet. In the document were a list of the company's clientele who use facebook as a marketing tool. I was responsible for filling the meta tag data which facebook uses in order for people to find the clients' facebook pages. This is a rather long list and will probably take several days to complete. Another thing I did today was resize images in order to support iPhone and iPad applications. Finally, I created mailing labels from a client list document, so the company could send Thank You postcards to their clients.

Today I uploaded some more vids to the YouTube site. As a continuation of my social networking assignment the previous day, I began a database list of ideas for the social networking team to upload to twitter/facebook/tumblr/etc. Among proofreading HRT marketing material, I also had the opportunity to create headlines for 3 HRH giveaways including a free t-shirt, a free picnic set, and a free digital picture frame.

A lot of my projects have been carrying over to my next day of work. Today I continued to edit the HRT site and wrote some more VO scripts. I created text for a YouTube profile as a place to put the vids I created the VOs for. This text included a complete character profile, vid descriptions and meta tag keywords. I also got the chance to proofread HRT e-mail marketing material. I set up a TubeMogul account for the company to quickly upload videos to multiple social networking sites.
